Enjoy Sauvignon Blanc, White Blend (91 points!), Red Blend (90 points), Petite Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and limited production Albarino. I had a chance to taste these wines just a few weeks ago and I believe they are among the best that all of Paso Robles has to offer.

Fabled Napa Valley winery Orin Swift will be our pour this week hosted by local sommalier Eric Johanson. Our Steller flight is 92 point Prisoner, Saldo Zin, Abstract, Italian Import "I", French Import "F" and the infamous Pappillon. These wines are generally found at only the finest restaurants and wine shops but you get a chance to try these right here in Steller's Cellar. The flight carries a premium price tag of $15.00 but is worth twice that price. Though the wines are not in the affordable price range, the two imports will be on sale during the tasting for only $16.99 a bottle ($22 at most wine shops) and are certain to sell out during the event.

They strive to make wines naturally, to make wines that have individual characteristics and to make wines with personality. The scale of production is kept at a level where Margerum can touch and know the wine as it is raised to the bottle – the antithesis of mass production. The standards of quality are measured by their criteria – not by external sources. They make wines we can all personally enjoy – some to drink young, all for the table, and others for long aging in cool cellars for our children to enjoy. This is a first time pour for Steller's Cellar and quite a treat I must add.

This is our fifth annual Outdoor Antique extravaganza where our Parking Lot is transformed into an Antique Shopper's Paradise. Shop under the California sunshine where over twenty five professional Antique Dealers will be selling there wares at tremendous prices. Shop for such goodies as old furniture, Iron Art, primitives, Shabby Chic, collectibles & glassware, Outdoor Pieces, Re-purposed furnishings and many one-of-a-kind treasures. This event is always in conjunction with the Bent Axles Car Show which takes place just three blocks away across town. So if you love old cars, old furniture and old stuff, and enjoy great music and homemade barbecue, then this event is right up your alley. Some come early for the best selection and leave late having spent a great day of shopping and sight seeing in Old Orcutt.
